1st house = 1 year!!

As of today we have been in our 1st house for 1 whole year!! Here is a list of some of the things we had done or did in just our 1st year :)

2011

1. April: MOVED IN!!
2. May: Worked on the backyard, started my 1st garden, and cleaned out a bunch of unwanted plants.
3. June: Re-modeled guest bathroom.
4. July: Diane came and we painted the guest bedroom as well as tore up the carpet to expose the hardwood floors.
5. July: The last week of July we bought Vera, our calico Kitten! (well now she's almost 1 year)
6. October: Re-arranged our master bedroom and tore up the carpet to expose the hardwood floors! (see a pattern happening?)
7. November: We were given our 2nd kitten shadow...that was a busy week getting Vera to accept her, but now they are best friends and get made if they are separated.
8.  December: Celebrated our 1st Christmas in our 1st house together! We bought a christmas tree and everything!

2012

9. January: Bought & hung new curtains for the living room
10. February: Finally hung up our wedding photo! Yep just the one, but have all the others ready to go, just need frames...that will be a 2nd year project.
11. March: Cleaned out our junk room...now we have an open room for the future.
12. March: Bought a grill! We've already put it to use a lot!
13. April: Re-placed the roof!!


From BIG projects to small ones we got a lot done this year...and the list is growing for more projects to start this year!
