Piano

So, Matt has been wanting a TV stand since we basically bought our flat screen and used the piano as a TV stand.  I have been adament about not getting rid of the piano, becuase someday my girls will take lessons and we won't be able to buy one, so why sell it?

Need less to say Matt has trie to find another spot for the piano and there really hasn't been any where else it would fit, that is until now.  Now that we have a play room/ guest bedroom, we might as well make it the piano room too right? 

So after lots of measuring, because again, if it didn't work, I wasn't going to get rid of it. :) Really, my husband is very sweet and he knows that I adore having a piano in the house and if it wouldn't work to move he would be content without an entertainment center. 

But it worked! Now we have a great entertainment center that we can hide all our books and stuff, plus we got to keep the piano! 

Now we just need to take the TV down, anchor it to the wall & re-paint! :) 

verything fits, and there's still room to play! 

Toy Room

It's crazy how things change.  Now that I am staying home and watching some friends' kids, we needed to re-vamp our living arrangements.  Plus I've wanted a toy room for the girls for awhile.  So we switched our guest bedroom and bedroom around.  We have a toy room/guest bedroom and I couldn't be happier!  

Our once guest bedroom is now our bedroom! 

What started off as the office when we first moved in, and then until recently has been our bedroom after Arya was born is now the guest bedroom/toy room!  Isn't it just darling!  Well, it really just has toys and a bed, but I look forward to making it more fun!

Labor Story

Jensen's birth was quite different.  She was scheduled to have a 
c-section on the 4th of June, but she decided she wanted to come just a little sooner.  On May 15th, I woke up with one cramp and then straight to a contraction and then straight to pushing.  I was pushing in my dining room!!

I had a feeling that week that baby Jensen was going to come early, but I was determined that it wouldn't be until the following week.  Well because I had Arya's birthday party that Saturday and only 2 more days of school until summer vaca., so baby wouldn't come before all that was done.  Well I was wrong, she came early and she came like lightening!

It took us 5 min tops to get our stuff around, basically Matt got Arya, and I grabbed our phones and camera bag.  We had just talked the night before about getting the hospital bag packed!  Matt got us to the hospital in a record 5 minutes compared to the normal 10!  

By the time I got to the hospital, I had been pushing for a while.  We called the hospital on the way. Because, again I was supposed to have a c-section and I wanted to make sure the surgeon was ready.  When we got to the hospital, they had a wheelchair waiting.  I barely could sit in it because I was pushing so much.      

We weren't at the hospital very long and Dr. Rens got there.  He checked me twice and said, get ready for delivery.  I couldn't believe what I was hearing, I wasn't supposed to deliver!  At that moment, I was so scared, I clung to Matt's arm and said over and over, "I can't do this."  However, it took 3 pushes after Dr. Rens cleared me to push and Jensen was born.  Only 1 hr and 15 min after I woke up in labor she came into this world.  

Not only did we have an unexpected birth with Jensen, we had something else unexpected happen.  After she was born, Matt took Arya home to pack our bag that we didn't have, and I took a nap while baby girl slept in the nursery.  After I woke up around 10:20, I called for baby girl to be brought to me.    

At 10:23 she stopped breathing, while I was holding her.  It was only God, that let the nurse come in when she did so that she saw how Jensen was turning blue.  I couldn't see a thing, didn't have my glasses or contacts.  It was so scary!  She ended up being air lifted to Sioux Falls Avera.  It turned out she ended up with Group B, and so she needed antibiotics to help her fight off the infection. 

Baby #2 ~ 3rd Trimester

3rd trimester 

Baby is 28 weeks 

Baby is the size of an egg plant

Arya is 22 Months  

Baby is 34 weeks 

Baby is the size of an cantaloupe

Arya is 23 Months  

So we only got to 34 weeks, and then Jensen came early.  I haven't been good at updating this, so I plan to update soon about Jensen's birth.  But short story, she came early.

So I started a new blog about m adventure as a stay at home mom.  It will be filled with ways to save money by doing lots of little things.  I'm using them so that I can stay at home, but they are tips anyone can use for any reason to save money.

2nd Trimester 

Cravings ~

Well now I'm over being sick, hallelujah!!  So let the cravings begin!

1. Mid-night snacks, I seem to get hungry for french fries, hot dogs or hamburgers around 10:00 p.m.
     ( Can we say boy?)

Baby is 16 weeks 

Size of an avocado 

Arya 19 Months 

Baby is 20 weeks

Arya is 20 months 

Baby is 24 weeks

Arya is 21 months 

So need less to say we are shocked to say that we are expecting another girl! This definitely shows how pregnancies can be different even with the same gender.

1st Trimester

 This time around; however, I am feeling a lot more nauseated.  All day long to be exact.  So far for this trimester, not a lot of cravings as I am feeling sick all the time. 

Cravings ~

1. goldfish. the salt really helps to calm my stomach.
