Touring Marshall

We took a trip to Marshall, on Saturday to see Diane!!! 1st we went to the Daily Grind to get some lunch. It was delicious!

We went shopping downtown, just a few of the stores we went to were the Fabric Store, A scrapbooking store, A shoe store and then a sweet vintage/antique store.

This is the rotary phone that I bought at the antique store! Isn't it gorgeous! The man told us that he was sad to see it go, but I told it him it would definitely be loved :)

We had such a great time in Marshall, I already miss Diane!!!

1st day of Spring!!

Springtime is here! Today we opened up the windows. Vera was very happy to be able to sit in the window. It was a little windy out and so Shadow was not too sure at first. She watched Vera's every move as if to make sure it was ok. As you can see, she warmed up to the window real quick! :)

We also bought a grill. Our 1st grill, we were really excited to grill some dinner!

Today's project: Junk Room

We decided to clean (well I finally talked Matt into cleaning) the junk room. This is out before picture.

Our after photo. There's still some things to go through, but how better does it look!

Most of the items ended up around the house, but a lot we got rid of or threw away :)
